In the case of video content, eye tracking can tell you where you’re looking. However, it is difficult to understand whether or not people are paying attention to the content. With our pupil response analysis technology, we can figure out where people are paying attention and how much they are looking at it as numerical data. The position of the gaze is displayed on the video as a mosaic. A red mosaic shows that the pupils are large and are paying attention, while a blue mosaic shows that the pupils are small and are only looking at the viewer. The level of attention for each cut displayed and each component of the cut makes it clear whether the production intent has been achieved and whether the message is being conveyed.
